Flying High

Mijn broer en ik hielden er enorm van om samen te lachen. De flauwste films! Ron en ik keken het liefst Flying High toen we tieners waren. De film heet eigenlijk Airplane! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Airplane!

Ik weet nog goed dat we dan op de kleine tafel zaten voor de TV, ieder een bakje chips op schoot, woensdagmiddag.
De kunst was dan zo snel mogelijk te voorspellen wat de volgende scene was. Geweldig vonden we dat! Ook nieuwe-dingen-die-gebeuren-in-de-achtergrond ontdekken was een sport! Tot de 5e keer dat we hem keken, zagen we nog iets nieuws in de achtergrond gebeuren!

Uiteindelijk hebben we zowel "Flying High 1" als "Flying High 2 - the sequel" wel meer dan 20 keer gezien! En ALS we het beu waren, dan keken we gewoon de film "Young Doctors in Love"!

I remember well, sitting on the small table, in front of the television, each of us with a small bucket of crips on our laps, on a wednesdayafternoon...
We both practised the art of predicting the next scene. We loved to do that! Also discovering new-things-that-are-happening-in-the-background was kind of a sports to us! The fifth time we saw the movie we still found something new!

In the end we saw both "Flying High 1" and "Flying High 2 - the sequel" over 20 times! And IF we were tired of Flying High we would just watch "Young Doctors in Love"!
